Spend some time volunteering! For florists, it could be a great idea to donate flowers to a local charity event or school function. By getting involved, your community will see that you care and in turn will come to care about your business!


Consider holding a special event! It will get more people into your shop and inspire them to order from you in the future. You could host a flower arranging party and teach customers how to build their own bouquet. You could even team up with another business, like a local artisan or boutique, and have them display some of their products in your shop for one night only— this can be beneficial for both of you! The possibilities are endless.

Offering free consultations for customers for their weddings or other events is a great way to show your expertise. It will also get potential customers interested in your business. They may come for the free advice, but they’re more likely to come back to purchase later.
