We had a blast doing Petal It Forward this year, and we know you did too! FSN celebrated the day by spreading happiness and flowers to our employees and community. We gave each person two roses, one to keep and one to pass on!

We were also able to visit a local retirement home and pass out flowers to the residents and staff!

But we weren't the only ones having fun! Read below to see what a few florists around the country did for Petal It Forward.

Bangor Floral, Maine

"We had a great time and set up in downtown Bangor. We handed out 300 smiles!"

Leona Sue's Florist Inc., Louisiana

"We handed out bouquets at a local coffee shop and left employees with extras for the morning rush. We also posted on Facebook and Instagram for anyone to stop by. Then we had an interview with the local tv station, KLFY in Lafayette, and sent the anchor back with bundles to give away. Then we went to random areas and gave them away! We had a blast and gave out about 300 bouquets!"

Flowers by Julia, Illinois

"We handed out a total of 60 bouquets in Princeton and the surrounding area. Much of the distribution was done by our delivery staff as they were out on deliveries—lots of good comments and happy faces."

"We delivered to the local police department to be distributed and to two local businesses. We handed out 400 flowers. The community was supportive and appreciative of this kind gesture."

All Occasions Events and Floral, Mississippi

"We went to local restaurants during breakfast, randomly picking patrons who then gleefully shared the second bouquet with a waitress or another patron. We drove around parking lots and ambushed unsuspecting people to bless. Their reactions were priceless! We also ran specials all day of BOGO so they could bring something extra home for themselves or bless two people for one price!"

"We handed out over 60 bouquets in front of our shop in a busy local strip mall. We advertised it on our Facebook, Instagram, and our communities local Facebook page and got amazing feedback!"

"Instead of hitting the streets for Petal it Forward to hand out flowers, our staff brought flowers inside to our local nursing home residents to enjoy! We chose to do it this way as the residents are unable to participate in the usual event as they are unable to leave the homes. The joy on the faces of the residents touched our souls, and it will be a day we will not forget!"

"I gave out flowers in our very small community. I started at our school (during after-school activities), then our store, and at our Island Ferry terminal. Sharing smiles—one flower, one person at a time."
